Review

Mortimer Beckett Time Paradox is a wonderful game in which must travel to different ages in time to collect many modern objects that had passed through a time portal and are lost in different location in the past. This installment of the original game Mortimer Beckett and the Secrets of Spooky Manor features astonishing graphics and music with wonderfully designed scenery and puzzles. The items that have passed through the portals have been split into pieces, so once you find all the pieces and put them together, you can use that item to solve the different puzzles. Once Mortimer has fixed all of the irregularities in given a scene, he receives the key to sealing the portals forever. A great thing about the game is that it has an unlimited hints system, so no matter in what age and location you are, you can always look at how many items are still waiting to be found in every scene. What is more, there are no time limits, so you can take all the time you want to solve a specific puzzle. Also, there is no penalty for mis-clicks, so you can play relaxed. I didn't like the fact that the game has a "To be continued" ending, and you are left hanging there, but the rest is awesome and you should definitely give it a try.
Advantages
  • Awesome graphics and sounds. Challenging and addictive game play. Great scenery and puzzles.
Disadvantages
  • To be continued" ending. Huge download.
